Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American author, singer and performer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then, in 1956 she had her breakthrough with a performance on Broadway with Li'l Abner. The singer also released her debut album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film which was made in 1958. She was Griselda the main character of the movie. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The next notable role she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise continued to juggle her work successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber characters as opposed to her image as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has made a name for herself as a director of popular TV shows like Supernatural. Born in Essex August 28th in 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto for her childhood. After being chosen in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
